Midland Cold Rolled Sections Limited (MCRS) is a provider of custom roll forming and a variety of additional engineering services that includes, fabrication, welding, press-braking, presswork and more. Specialising in delivering bespoke solutions to a wide range of markets including construction, industrial, agricultural and automotive to name just a few.
“January 2017 proved to be a pivotal month for us at MCRS. Turnover for the month was the highest since we acquired the business in July 2016” commented Russell Eynon, Director and co-owner since July 2016.
He adding “The business has a strong order book that will ensure the business will continue to grow in 2017. This has enabled the business to increase our size of our team ahead of expectations by 25%, further strengthening our roots in the local economy”.
The company is now fulfilling orders for new customers in varying sectors, including the construction, industrial, storage & racking and agricultural markets.
Fellow Director and co-owner Wayne Fletcher further discussed the business performance in detail. “MCRS has seen turnover increase 3 fold under the latest regime since July 2016. January was a record month with February looking equally strong.”
Wayne continued “We are introducing more regular monthly turnover customers to help us to stabilise the business and to compliment the ‘project based clients’ of the historical order book. The feedback from the new customers so far is positive and whilst quality and service are a given these days, the new (and existing clients) have been suitably impressed by the close supplier/customer communication, improved lead times and competitive pricing structures.”
Wayne added “Our Fabrication Division has just completed an order for a large multinational environmental engineering company and we are currently quoting on our first export work.”
The company is now in final negotiations to securing a partnership with one of the leading global structural suppliers of engineered products, working on new innovations that will lead to new product launches currently expected late 2017.
